Fruition - Northern Town by E

Fruition's second single off their forthcoming album Watching It All Fall Apart is a melancholy surrender to hope. It's never grandiose, solidly maintaining its folk roots, but "Northern Town" grows with the subtle strength and quiet force of all that remains the same with those you love as everything around you changes.

Listen to the single before, find the band on tour this year, and look for the album to be released February 2nd via LoHi Records.

Vagabon - Cold Apartment by E

Vagabon's "Cold Apartment" is an honest reflection on small regrets, longing, acceptance, and an absolute determination to move on.

A fresh indie sound stripped down to its core is paired with an equally poignant video by Faye Orlove. The simple images of a bed in need of new sheets, a movie once loved but now tainted and things forgotten to now be thrown out scream of the steady (sometimes forced) growth and slow clean up that comes after a break-up, all with a simple beat that carries it along and a hypnotic riff to hold it all together.

If you've not already fallen in love with Vagabon's sound, 2018 is the year to do so. Listen to her debut album Infinite Worlds (out now) and watch the video below before heading to all those sites below for more.

Comb My Hair by E

Coast Modern's effortless sound is something like aged angst with a tongue in cheek attitude, deep grooves swirled with psychedelia, and a smooth West coast finish; and their newest single "Comb My Hair" is all of that at once.

The LA duo (Coleman Trapp and Luke Atlas) will be releasing their debut record May 5th via 300 Entertainment / +1 Records and, as each single has been as unique and wonderful as the last, we've no doubt this is one album you will not want to miss.

Listen to the new single below and check out all those sites to stay up to date with a duo whose sound you're bound to fall for.

Here It Goes by E

Ryan Lafferty released his aptly titled debut single "Here It Goes" today. A surreal deconstructed country with pop influences sound wraps itself around narrative lyrics that spell out Lafferty's journey.

Story-like lyrics reach beyond the song with their honesty: a first love gone wrong followed by an endearing breakaway that proves it wasn't the worst thing that happened that day. Lafferty's sound is fresh and different, but stays within the realm of pop country, making it as comfortable and easy to listen to as it is exciting.

Give the single a listen and follow all those links below to stay up to date with Ryan Lafferty.
