The Los Angeles duo's new single is "The Way It Was," and this time they introduce a surprising electronic element towards the end alongside their usual pop/rock blend.

"With so many songs about 'better times,' we thought there'd be no better time to write a song about the wetter times—the lush rainforest of the present. In such a turbulent era, it's easy to get stuck in the quicksand of nostalgia or tangled in vines of worry. Come on this jungle cruise with us as we explore the wonders of now...because we all know it's never gonna go back to the way it was."

Boys That Sing - Press Release by E

To mark the posthumous release of indie group Viola Beach’s self-titled album an animated video for lead single "Boys That Sing" has been revealed today. The full album is now available via the band’s own label Fuller Beans Records.

With support from the band members’ families, UK and US based family and entertainment production company, Komixx Entertainment, have got together with their Warrington-based partner company Mackinnon & Saunders Digital Studios to create the video. Inspired by the song’s lyrics, the mixed-media animation video features an animated character interacting with live action footage shot on location in Warrington - Viola Beach’s hometown.

Andrew Cole-Bulgin, joint CEO and Head of Film & TV, Komixx Media Group, says, “We are delighted to be able to produce an animation that reflects their songs, creativity and their unique talent.”

Co-founder of Mackinnon & Saunders, Ian Mackinnon - says, “We were very moved by the band’s story, the album is a great legacy of the band’s musical talent and we felt very honoured to be approached by their families to help create the video for the new single”.

The band’s families said, "We are happy to reveal the music video for ‘Boys That Sing,’ which has been fantastically animated by local animators, MacKinnon and Saunders.  We think it's a perfect tribute to Jack, Kris, River, Tom and Craig and also to the town that they were so proud to call their home"

The talented four-man group from Warrington, who were widely tipped for success, recently received a moving tribute from Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin at their Glastonbury 2016 Pyramid Stage headlining slot. Viola Beach’s debut album is out now.

UK and US based family and entertainment production company, Komixx Entertainment, together with their partner company Mackinnon & Saunders Digital Studios, produced the official music video of Viola Beach’s new self-titled album.

Keep On Dancing (Until We're Free) - Press Release by E

International LGBTQ stars collaborate on new dance anthem "Keep On Dancing (Until We're Free)".

House of Wallenberg teams up with Jwl B from Yo Majesty and Lady Bunny on the new single and all proceeds from the new song will go to the Pulse Orlando Fund, supporting the families and victims of the recent nightclub shooting.

Swedish artist, DJ and producer Petter Wallenberg (aka House of Wallenberg) has teamed up with Jwl B from queer rappers Yo Majesty, and drag superstar Lady Bunny on a new song ‘Keep on Dancing (Until We’re Free)’. The track has been recorded specifically for the Pulse Orlando Fund, in support of the families and victims of the massacre at took place at Pulse Nightclub on June 12.

Petter Wallenberg said: “Queer clubs used to be safe spaces where we could be free. The Orlando shooting changed that. Now when we go out we find ourself prepared for the worst. But its important to not let fear win. As our song says, we need to keep on dancing, loving and fighting. This is our tribute to the Orlando victims but also a manifest for everyone’s right to be free.”

Jwl B said: “I’m from Florida and I lost friends and family from the gay community in the Orlando massacre. I felt I had to do something positive to bring happiness and create a fund raiser. I say to all my angels that lost their lives that we’re gonna keep on dancing until were free.”

Lady Bunny said: “The gay community has remained strong in the face of discrimination, bashing and AIDS. While the shooting at Pulse was grim, it renewed our desire to bond together and fight. A big part of our spirit comes from a club culture in which we gather to dance and celebrate the freedoms we do have. That will never die!”
