The Music Rag

Trouble by E

Taken from the band's Cavities EP, The Queen and King's recently released acoustic track for single "Trouble" strips it to its base and takes the track from a flowery Owl City-circa-2009- meets-early-Sleeperstar feel to a pure, vast but full, honest declaration in a refreshing new take we're hopelessly hooked on.

Look for their Pep Talk EP to be released this year, head to the sites below for some acoustic covers of your favorite songs and catch an interview with the Nashville based duo here.

On Location by E

No strangers to a catchy track, Public Access T.V.'s latest release "On Location" sounds ready-made to be your soundtrack to the beach. A sweetly lulling 2010-esque feel to its prominent beats, just untouched vocals and lush, guitar driven hooks, the track's smooth and comfortably listenable, without being tired.

Look for Public Access T.V.'s debut album to be released later this year on Cinematic Records and catch the band at Governors Ball and Bonnaroo this June.

Daydreamers by E

Glint has this way about their music, an assured confidence to delicate tracks, and this cinematic quality comes out in force on the first single, "Daydreamers", from their forthcoming full-length; with its articulate lyrics and lush production, the track could be right at home on your next favorite indie flick.

It's true and aware without coming across as plaintive at the same time that it's patient but full and pulsing with an earnest life, and we just can't get enough.

Listen to "Daydreamers", head to the sites, and look for Inverter to be released March 11th via Votiv.
