When Will I Be Loved by E

I grew up with parents who were big into classic rock/country and basic popular musicology so, try as I might, I have not been able to crawl out of this Everly Brothers rut since Friday; I might as well give in and play their music on repeat.
No matter how many times this song is covered by other popular artists, the original will always be the best. It was written by Phil Everly and its rockabilly sound will be stuck in your head all day.

Bye Bye Love by E

You probably grew up listening to The Everly Brothers and, as stated by Bob Dylan, "we owe these guys everything. They started it all".
The duo fused R&B and country, leading the way for rock & roll and inspiring artists like Simon & Garfunkel (Simon was inspired by "Bye Bye Love" and began to work on his act with Garfunkel), Crosby, Stills & Nash, Keith Richards, and The Beatles (who considered naming themselves The Foreverly Brothers and referred to themselves as The English Everly Brothers. They also based the vocal arrangement for "Please Please Me" off that of "Cathy's Clown" and covered "All I Have to Do Is Dream" in their early days [when the band consisted of only Harrison, Lennon, and McCartney]).
With the death of Phil Everly Friday, we lost a truly great artist. Click on the song titles below to hear some of the amazing tracks this duo put out.
"Bye Bye Love", "All I Have to Do Is Dream", "Cathy's Clown", "Wake Up, Little Susie" (this song was banned on multiple radio stations after its initial release), "Let It Be Me", "'Til I Kissed You", "When Will I Be Loved"

Reckless by E

It feels like a San Cisco kind of day and this song is always completely amazing.
If you still do not have anything from San Cisco, grab their EPs and albums off iTunes because all of the band's tracks are just as gorgeous as this one. The melodies are always perfect, the vocals spot on, and there's just enough of a melancholy feel in each track that the songs become impossibly addictive; their music's just awesome.
