Dirty Love by E

Ke$ha made her directorial debut with her video for "Dirty Love" and, while it's not extraordinarily amazing and looks like it was more fun to make than anything else, it's great because it highlights why I find Ke$ha to be so much better than her 'competitors' in the female pop scene: She does not give a fuck. She doesn't go out of her way to show that she doesn't give a fuck like Lady Gaga and she doesn't not give a fuck as long as you still like her like Katy Perry, she just flat out doesn't care what you think and that's awesome.
Watch the video for lots of glitter and an awesome song to fight the winter blues.

Reflections by E

The last time I fell in love with a band's music this quickly I was getting sucked into the perfection that was Hudson Taylor's Hyde Park performance.
MisterWives released their debut EP Reflections Tuesday and, while the title track is free on the US iTunes store this week, you should really buy the entire album because all of those songs are kind of super amazing. They're upbeat with steady rhythms and fun melodies but the lyrics stay eloquent and the vocals are fantastic. This six song EP will be your best purchase of the week (it is just so, so good) so head to iTunes and get your copy now, then head to the websites below to check out more about the band.
