Bright Lights by E

First single, "Bright Lights", off Paul McDonald's forthcoming debut solo album casually switches from the singer's rock/folk roots with a heavy indie pop presence that begs to play in heavy rotation on alt-pop radio.

The video offers up a simple backdrop and easy mirror for a track that's relatable while still hitting. A full production and dance-worthy hook give it the air of any pop song you've got playing on repeat but the surprisingly mindful lyrics and honest, open lines jibe so well with McDonald's soulful vocals that you're left with an irresistibly pure track and no reason to not be anxiously awaiting the release of the new album, due out in 2015.

Arcadia by E

Fairchild's latest single, "Arcadia", offers up a cool response to the bands normally winding tracks.

The change in sound from the last EP to this single is subtle but great, with a fully constructed sound letting loose a running rhythm and irrepressible melody while the always 'pretty' vocals from Adam Lyons feel markedly strong and steady, keeping up with that heavy rhythm and giving the track a refreshingly balanced feel that plays out with ease along the driven production. It only gets better with each listen and that cool and controlled beat will have you tapping your feet and playing this on repeat.
