With a sound reminiscent of The Hush Sound circa So Sudden (with a triple shot of youthful exuberance) Kayah Duen's energetic and bright approach to indie folk pop is both familiar and refreshing. The acoustic recording offers an endearing honesty and sweet, relatable lyrics carry you away while you're left falling for the young Sydney based quintet.
Beautiful Terrible /
Fuzzy lo-fi brilliantly mixed with a fun back and forth makes OhBoy!'s "Beautiful Terrible" a must hear for any lover of '90's grit, dirty riffs and dissolutions, driven rhythms, and good, straightforward lyrics. It's fast and dirty and fun and it's available for free download on the band's website now.
Lucy /
There's a vintage charm to this self-described 'nostalgic bunch' and having their video for "Lucy" shot on super8 film makes it that much sweeter. Sunshine & The Blue Moon's sound drips of warm vintage riffs that'll lull you into a trance and longing lyrics that'll have you falling, all while keeping it fresh with cool vocals and lazy beats.

The effortless mix of vintage rock, modern country, and soul is careful and drifting, sweet and sultry, and impossible to ignore and harder to forget.
