Teddybears

Shades by E

Teddybears' "Shades" drips with their ever present club ready beats while a smooth synth takes it away like a trip down a very different rabbit hole. Hypnotic but easy, "Shades" is one to keep around and throw on when you're getting ready for the weekend.

The track's off Teddybears' newly released Rock On, an album we would strongly recommend not only because it's music and a band with a very clear conscience and purposeful voice, but because the title/opening track is this weary, half-stripped cinematic intro we just can't stop listening to.

The Best You Ever Had by E

Teddybears' brand of charming brand of pop for those too cool for pop music shows heavy on their latest single "The Best You Ever Had" featuring Gorilla Zoe. With tasteful distortions, builds and drops enough to make your head swirl, and persistent bass leading on playful riffs, it's too structured for pop, too loose for techno, and just right to turn up on your Friday.

What's Your Problem by E

Teddybears latest single featuring twelve year old Baby Trish is a take no prisoners, purposefully charged track that begs one simple question: what's your problem?

Seeking more than their previously lighthearted and fun loving singles, the band takes their irresistible irrepressible sound to new levels by pairing it with their pro-justice/pro-equality seeking anthem that'll have you dancing along in no time.

Sunshine by E

Teddybears new summer ready single is as addictive as ever and their always danceable mixture of electronica/hip-hop beats with rock/reggae rhythms and easy to sing along with lyrics are in full effect on a track that's sure to make its way into your next beach playlist.

While lyrics that state "won't you be my sunshine, your sweet smile is always on my mind" are casually sweet, they're met with such a greatly terse opposition in the video that it's hard not to lose focus on the track itself.

The track's dance-worthy and cute, but the video, which features a magical pair of underwear which turns every man she sees into a 'teddybear' (by shooting rainbow rays from her bejeweled crotch [I don't know]) is so distracting that I'm left with a slight appreciation for their weirdness and a lot of questions for the mindset of the person who pioneered this idea.

Check out the insane video below and get the single now.
