Appetite by E

We want to preface this by saying we love everything Sophie and The Bom Boms put out. If you, your best friend, and your sister were to start a band, this is the style and sound you'd only strive to create: undeniably fun, honest to the core in a diary-esque sense, and an underlying because it just can't be helped geekiness to it all.

Nearly disarming in its popiness, Sophie and The Bom Boms latest single "Appetite" is an anthem for the fed-up with it's irrefutably fun indie tech pop senses. An easy flow, popping beats, and a melodic bridge to draw you in, all while these oh so great lyrics play out with an unforgiving honesty we love so much is enough to have you hooked, so head to the sites below to hear even more.

Find You by E

With a perfectly wave-like production and sweetly prominent bass riffs, Pro Vita's "Find You" is surf rock to the core with a garage pop attitude. Fresh styles with familiar flows, it's an easy to grasp melody and well thought lyrics with a big, big chorus reeking of quieted angst and roadtrip singalongs.

It's hard to still sound cool when everything else in the track is coming off as desperate, but the Sunshine Coast 4 piece do it with ease and with front man Connor Brooker's knack for songwriting it's no surprise Pro Vita's fourth single is as addictive as ever.

Barbara by E

Terribly Yours most recent single sees him heading in a lighter direction than the previous two, with pulsing beats and a lively melody, while his honest and breaking lyrics continue to hold control.

Of "Barbara" he says, "lyrically it's about anticipation and wanting to be with someone real bad. Like, when you know it's wrong to put someone on a pedestal but it feels good to let the infatuation consume you."

The third single from Brooklyn based Sean Bones' pop project, "Barbara" emphasizes Terribly Yours new sound that's uniquely his own, nearly nostalgic but still full of promise. Head to the sites below to stay up to date with more details from his forthcoming LP.

Compensation by E

The Murlocs uniquely fun garage R&B sound comes together on their single "Compensation" in the band's most recent video that's so perfectly, endearingly weird, it'll have you hooked if those swirling riffs, piano trills, and introspective lyrics weren't already doing it for you.

"Compensation" is taken from The Murlocs second full-length LP, Young Blindness, due out Friday, March 18 via Flightless/Remote Control Records and look for the band to make their US live debut at the 2016 Levitation Festival, headlined by Ween, 13th Floor Elevators, and Brian Wilson.
