Fantasy by E

In the vein of every early 2000s alt-pop 'man' band that made you buy your first bottle of black nail polish (think Yellowcard hooks and riffs with The Ready Set lyrics) Call The Shots' "Fantasy" features an impressively cinematic intro before jumping into a hard riff just begging you to listen and experience it live.

So fun and catchy in a way you can't shake, 5 piece Brisbane pop/punk band Call The Shots' high energy single is enough to have you looking up tour dates, so give it a go and head to those sites below for more.

Mosquito Bitten by E

We're really digging the clean lo-fi/dirty pop sound that's coming about and no one makes it look easier than WRITER (brothers James and Andy Ralph).

"Mosquito Bitten" feels a bit like waking up after a long night and a bad trip and retracing your steps back to the start with a bass set on drowning your thoughts and a persistent beat pushing you forward while a repetitive chorus lulls and lures you in to its hypnotic sensibilities.

It's sneakily addictive and we love it for that, so head to all those sites below and look for WRITER's sophomore album, Principle Web, to be released April 8th on Small Plates Records.

For You by E

Originally a secret collection of Katie Bennett's home recordings, free cake for every creature's enticing brand of bass led, quiet pop is soft and sweet, hypnotic in a dreamy sense.

Look for the album, Talking Quietly of Anything With You, to be released April 15 via Double Double Whammy and head to those sites below for more.

All She Said by E

As effortlessly cool as The Wombats with a chorus as jaunty and catchy as that of The Fratellis, the four piece rock and roll outfit hailing from Borås, Sweden puts out an impressively addictive first cut with The Bongo Club's "All She Said", lifted from the band's debut album, Be Careful Not To Stare.

A huge chorus, prominent beats, intriguing vocals; what more could you want from a solid rock band?

Head to the sites below for more from The Bongo Club.
