Daggers & Knives by E

Woodes' "Daggers & Knives" is cold, calculated, and remarkably catchy.

The first single from the Australian artist/producer's forthcoming EP, the track moves from hypnotic and detached to real and emotional, driven by a clever production and addictive chorus. A track worth falling for, it would be dreamy were it not so wonderfully heavy and intricate.

Says Woodes of the new single, "this track started as something that could have relished in a dark place, but as it unraveled I could feel it transition. In my head I envisioned myself as someone else: powerful and in control". Check it out below and look for her debut solo EP to be released mid 2016.

All The Beauty by E

Lila Rose's gorgeous "All The Beauty" is one of those too rare tracks that are so unassumingly pretty and transcendent in such a quiet way - initially at least - that it gives you butterflies and has you coming back for third and fourth listens.

Little hooks and an easy chorus with a sincere message build to an impassioned and raw ending of epic proporitions with an entrancingly honest release and an immediate fade out that does much more justice to the piece than a simple return to the refrain could.

"All The Beauty" is desperate and real and words won't do it justice, you just need to set aside time to sink into and appreciate the 'beauty' of Lila Rose's powerful single. Check out the links below and fall for her sound now.

Waiting For The Thunder by E

Dark and melodic, Apothek's "Waiting For The Thunder" plays out with pretty vocals clashing against ominous, distorted beats and a gradually crescendoing melody that steps up to a lullingly full chorus before spinning off into a lush bridge that'll leave you guessing what's next and hitting replay.

The Norwegian duo's constantly evolving track grows from uncertainty to warmth with a delicate ease we can't begin to describe, so take a listen for yourself and follow the links for more.

Fall Aprt by E

There's a surprising depth to Maja Skillz so robotic sound in her pretty, melodic vocals and disjunct beats that carry as much meaning as her open lyrics.

Alt-pop project by Mari Norden, Maja Skillz's "Fall Aprt" is a carefully put and fully honest piece of dance-ready melancholia that deservers your attention, so head to the sites and check out the single.
