Cassius release video for "Action" featuring Cat Power & Mike D - Press Release by E

French duo Cassius made their return last week with surprise single "Action" featuring Cat Power and Mike D, out now via Interscope / Polydor Records. "Action" marks the group's first new song in years and stays true the classic Cassius sound that helped shape the future of electronic music, while bringing a forward-thinking production attitude honed on recent albums for some of the biggest global artists of our time. The video, directed by the TOILET PAPER crew, follows the band to a playfully-retro tropical dance party that rapidly gets out of hand.

Sons & Daughters by E

The musical genius of Bird of Youth's Beth Wawerna lies in her frank writing style and elusive sound that feels something like the lovechild of Florence + The Machine and LP with an extra shot of unrelenting strength in the heavy but warm beats and gorgeously raw vocals that deliver already great lines with a tangible fervor you can't shake.

In an eloquent 'fuck it', "Sons & Daughters" is all the tiresome frustration of the day to day topped off with a beautifully unforgiving attitude and a bridge so perfect you can't help but get caught up in it.

A music video that plays along and a verse as truly great as "you'll lead them like lambs to slaughter then you bleed them dry and pretend till it's time to skip town again and I'm just looking down the barrel of another dead end" should have you in love with no hope of return, so head to the sites below for more and look for Get Off to be released May 20th.

Would It Be Wrong by E

After the release of his impressive debut, it's no surprise that Julius' "Would It Be Wrong" hits with the same immediacy and addictiveness as "Save Me".

A slinking melody and honest to a fault lyrics are carried off by heavy beats and Julius' strong, urgent vocals in a track we wish we weren't so hooked on.

Outshine The Stars by E

Don't let her age fool you, 16 year old singer-songwriter Olivia is not one to pass over and the dreamily anthemic new single, "Outshine The Stars", is all the proof you need that she's one to watch.

Pure pop in its optimistic sense, the track very nearly seems to sparkle with hope while Olivia's honey rich vocals carry out empathic, authentic lines with an impressive ease that'll have you hitting replay and looking for more.

Look for her EP to be released soon, follow the links below, and check out an interview with Olivia here.
