New Dorp New York (Belarbi Remix) by E

Belarbi has a knack for kicking tracks up a notch and making them utterly dance-worthy and this latest one is no exception.

The track feels warm and full, with lines "my girl's got a city to run, got the key to the kingdom where the money's from, never seen calienda, never seen the sun" feeling lighter and more optimistic in light of the remixed track's pulsing rhythm and fun melody.

The intriguingly optimistic twist to the original offers something that's utterly irresistible and, with this remix, Belarbi has given us the rare opportunity where the remix is actually (much) more satisfying than the original; check out the track below to hear why you should already be loving Belarbi's work.

Listen to original tracks like "Paradise" and fun remixes like Yuna's "I Wanna Go" and Lykke Li's "No Rest For The Wicked" for insanely addictive tracks you'll want to play on repeat.

Found My Way by E

We Are Stations' "Found My Way" feels like everything you've ever loved about alternative rock came together to create the perfect single.

Straying far from the pop driven riffs and bouncing drum rhythms of other summer releases, a heavy and persistent rhythm urges the fun keys, pure guitar riff, pulsing bass, and raw vocals forward while sweet lines "I was on the verge of letting go, before you came into my world and gave me hope to hold to, now I spend my days in disbelief, knowing you're the better half of me" mix easily with "and I found my way through the pouring rain, with the feeling that you gave me this feeling is what kept me alive, so don't you let this go tonight" which ring out like a declaration of hope and strength.

A confident guitar riff leads the way into a fun instrumental bridge while a beat made to make you dance and a remarkably addictive melody build to the undeniably emotional "don't you let this go, I won't let this go, just let me know that you won't let me go".

"Found My Way" is We Are Stations' first single and I can only imagine, and anxiously wait to hear, what other amazing tracks the band comes up with next. Head to the sites to find out a bit more about your new favorite up and coming alternative act and download the track for free now.

Carousel Ride by E

Interesting lyrics and Traver's fun and lilting vocals are mirrored by the video for Rubblebucket's latest single, "Carousel Ride", which takes you on a crazy ride you won't want to end.

Desperate lines "round and round and round I go, hoping for a miracle, I've got no place to run and hide, guess I'll take a spin on the carousel ride" are matched perfectly with the urgency of releasing the video's alien prisoner while a trippy melody falls in step with the risky plan of escape.

It really all comes down to the uniquely addictive sound of Traver's full vocals; there's something about them that can keep any song interesting, but add in the band's rambunctious rhythms, twisted synth, sweet piano melody, inarguably fun brass, and flat out infectious harmonies and it's near impossible to not fall for Rubblebucket's sound.

Watch the new music video for single "Carousel Ride", pre-order their forthcoming Carousel Ride EP (available August 11th for UK listeners) and third full-length Survival Sounds (available August 25th for US listeners), and head to the sites to hear more from this talented band.

The acoustic video shows the band's indelible talent and there's something to be said about a band that sounds just as great recorded in studio as live; it's absolutely fantastic, the video should convince you to fall for the band's music, and Traver's dancing to the song is all of us dancing to the song while sitting at our computers.

Sunshine by E

Fragile Creatures' "Sunshine" is the alternative pop piece you've been looking for all summer.

Sweet chords catch a fun rhythm perfectly while a fun bass line offers up a riff as infectious as awesome lines "in the dark times we can make our own sunshine, just abandon all our crutches and tear off all our disguises, cause tomorrow can have a beautiful meaning, while you were away my dear I gave my heart to the world, she's in love with me, I am hers and she is mine".

You couldn't ask for a catchier guitar riff, sweeter trilling keys, or better control over these lines; even with so many things going on at once, the track manages to stay in solidly infectious order.

Satisfying vocals deliver articulate lyrics throughout before the sweet repetition of "there's a burning bright sun on the horizon, it's great to stay up late and watch the sun rising" drops off abruptly, creating a track as warm, addictive, and over all too soon as the title promises.

Head to the sites to hear more great music from the band and follow Fragile Creatures' accounts to stay updated on the release of their forthcoming album.
