The Used are releasing a limited vinyl re-pressing on exclusive new variants of Self-Titled and In Love and Death Friday, August 26th. Pre-Sales begin today, Tuesday, August 16th at 10:00 am PST. The band will be playing two shows per city, performing Self-Titled and In Love and Death in their entirety, plus more each evening. The tour kicks off tonight in Portland, OR and wraps on September 28th in Atlanta, GA.
The self-titled album, The Used, was released June 25th, 2002 as the band's debut album. The album is consistently recognized as a staple, landmark album of the genre and is listed as influence for many bands that have come after. In Love and Death is the follow-up album to Self-Titled, and was released September 28, 2004.
Fifteen years ago, four teenagers from Utah created a band and released a collection of albums that shaped the space of the alternative rock scene.
