A Living Human Girl by E

We love, love, love The Regrettes' "A Living Human Girl" and can't get enough of the newly released video directed by Steve Mertens.

The song and (its matching video) is a feminist anthem for women everywhere (even for those of you still too scared off by the wrongful vilification and radicalization of feminism to adopt that term) with a head-on approach to tired concepts and unapologetic truths.

Says 15 year old frontwoman Lydia Night, "the song’s video is also chock-full of (visual) real talk, exploring the idea of girls as paper dolls to be dressed and judged by others: I feel like people want girls to be molded to their liking".

Their sound is impossibly structured and mature for such a fresh band and it's impossible to make it all the way to "sometimes I'm crazy and sometimes I'm not" without getting completely caught up, so take a look for yourself and fall in love with feminist punk rockers The Regrettes. Look for their debut album to drop in late 2016 or early 2017 and check out all those sites below for more, because we can't talk them up enough.

That's What I Like by E

Pigeon John's "That's What I Like" is an irresistible slice of Summer pop custom made for hot beach days and impulsive nights.

Upbeat, pressing, and determined to make you move with a beat that won't stop, "That's What I Like" is everything a great dance song is and, without a doubt, this track will stay in that sweet spot of too addictive to let go and too catchy to forget (even when it's been circling your head for hours). You will find yourself humming this later and dancing without music, and that's okay.

Take a listen to Pigeon John's fantastic hip hop/rap/pop fusion, head to those sites, check out his previous single "The Bomb", and look for Pigeon John to release his new album, Good Sinner, on Dine Alone Records September 23rd.

Idiot by E

If there's one song you need to shake off the work week, it's JEFF The Brotherhood's "Idiot".

Its prominent beat is foot-tapping, head-banging goodness and "Idiot" builds to a turn the volume all the way up and (soft core) thrash along chorus that you'll really love having stuck in your head before dipping into a wonderful mess of reverb that just so seamlessly spits out the guitar fueled refrain on the other side in a predictable but surprisingly addictive fashion.

You'll spend your first listen just falling deeper and deeper into the music, so give it another go to really appreciate the greatly put lyrics and head to all those sites below to stay up to date with the art project started by Nashville brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall and look for their album, Zone, to be released August 12 via Dine Alone Records.
