Loud by E

Kehlani's Grammy nominated producer Coucheron has released a lyric video for his latest single "Loud" off his double A-side Loud/Puzzled.

Simple but unexpected, the lyric video holds an easy warmth and a dash of endearing kitschiness - falling in line with a song so catchy and wonderfully hopeful it'll make your whole day better - that we know you'll fall for.

Unobtrusive electronic music at its most melodic, Coucheron's tracks are not ones to mix, so check out the video and head to all those sites for more.

The official lyric video for Coucheron's single LOUD. Made by Jakob Kermit (Giftland). To be released via Toothfairy. Ghost In The Wind by E

Birdy's "Ghost In The Wind" off The Edge of Seventeen Official Soundtrack captures all the fear of being hopelessly lost with those gentle bursts of energy to find yourself that marked our teenage years, done with such aplomb that it holds an almost timeless feel.

Her always ethereal vocals string along poetic lyrics in hypnotic accordance with the hauntingly gorgeous music, with a final beautiful swell and earnest push that leaves hope laying just at its fringes in a cinematic echo in a way that only Birdy's potent vocals could carry with such confidence and ease before the track finds itself lost and wandering once again.

On the film, Birdy explains: "I really loved this movie, and could relate to Nadine’s struggles as an awkward teenager finding her way. My Song “Ghost in the Wind” is about a cry for help and forgiveness when Nadine realises she’s pushed away all the people who care about her and lost herself in the process".

O.D On You by E

Swedish pop act Violet Days' latest single "O.D On You" is a flawless banger well worthy of your time and the multiple listens it's sure to inspire (and if you blare it in your car, it's powerful enough to make the pain of tomorrow's Thanksgiving dinner with the extended family melt away for a few minutes).

Addictive with a warm melody and a hook that will be circling round your head for days, the track's not easy to forget - and we wouldn't want to forget it anyways. Narrative lyrics and Hannson's ever emotive vocals make "O.D On You" something we can't stop listening to and we think you should be stuck on it too, so take a listen and follow all those links below to stay up to date with Violet Days.

The Regrettes Live by Guest User

LA-based punk rock band The Regrettes opened for Sleigh Bells at Mezzanine in San Francisco November 16th with a kick-ass performance. Consisting of frontwoman Lydia Night, guitarist Genessa Gariano, bassist Sage Nicole, and drummer Maxx Morando, the band's songs stem from Lydia's unabashed attitude towards her own personal experiences and that transitions into their powerful sound: this band says what they feel, means what they say, and plays like they're having the time of their lives. The sweetest part of the performance was when they brought out a box of doughnuts ("he doesn't like cake" - Lydia) on stage for drummer Maxx Morando's 18th birthday, the crowd singing happy birthday while he blew out his candle.

The Regrettes gave off an incredible energy that transmitted to the crowd and got them jumping around and dancing. One definite crowd pleaser was "Seashore" which they dedicated to Trump; I suggest you listen to that song if you too are feeling particularly angsty towards a Trump presidency. "Hey Now" and "A Living Human Girl" had us swaying and jumping to the beat (and are my two favorite singles they've put out). Their studio versions and live performance sound virtually the same, though, with this band, the experience of being in the crowd and having Lydia come down from the stage and dancing with us is just pure fun. The '60's inspired guitar riffs coupled with their punk rock mentality will continue to draw a crowd and leave fans and listeners waiting excitedly around for their full album, to be released in early 2017.
